collease
Need to replace both my front and rear wiper moters as they are almost totally fecked. Got one quote so far from the stealers and its £326.09inc vat and labour. This seems a bit much but still waiting for another company to phone me back with their quote. I cant do it myself as im totally inept at this and i have looked at the haynes and although it does not seem to difficult i dont want to risk breaking the windscreen. At least if they do it i wont have to replace it myself.

collease
Well the front has started again going very slowly to the point that it almost stops nomatter what speed you put it on and the rear is only getting through half the motion befor it stops. Its not the fuses or the wireing as i have checked both as best i can. My mate has told me that current is getting to them but it just does not power them. Second quote is from german and swedish to fit as well.

patently
[ QUOTE ] sounds silly, but have you tried a good lube on them? [/ QUOTE ] Worked for me once. The symptoms were similar. Used the Haynes manual to get at the motors and the mechanism and applied oil liberally to anything that looked as if it used to move. As you said, ooohh er!!
