Hey guys! Some time ago i put a post up asking for feedback on choices of colour for a 535d - silver or carbon black (thanks for all the responses! )

My e39 530d is sold so i am now looking for a 535d, a few months old. i found a beautifull one in germany http://www.luxauto.lu/details-106132-BMW-535.html (exactly the inside and outside colour i like - sorry guys, i prefer silvergrey to carbon black smile.gif ),..... BUT this car has not Heads UP display and no Active Cruise Control.

Heads Up display is a nice to have. But Active Cruise Control I really want to have because I do about 300km's per day.

So the million dollar question is can these 2 things be fitted into the car after it is bought? Any experiences from you guys? I am aware it will cost a few thousand - i dont really mind.

Heads up display is a no no, this has been discussed on http://forums.e60.net/ so maybe have a look on there.

You need a whole new dash for a start and a new windscreen, these two alone come in at around €5000. Not sure on active cruise, but the part list is massive and I think it needs a whole new wiring loom, and the work time for replacing the main wiring loom is 72 hours!!!!! EEK2.GIF

It would be easier to buy a car with them in.
