Hants_Cruiser_UK
I have my own website which I like to tinker around with and I have a question. It's created using FrontPage 2000 and I have several photo galleries. The pages consist of thumbnails which you click on to get a larger view. My questions is this .... is it possible to make the background on the enlarged image a different colour ie black instead of boring white ? Please bear in mind that I have no html skills (except copy and paste ), so that is why I like FrontPage. Any ideas welcome
Mollox
Can you post up a link to your page so i can have a look: The question is whether the background you want to change is part of the actual picture (e.g. the jpeg) or whether you are talking about a page background that the picture itself sits on top of. If its the former then it takes 1 second to change in FrontPage and if its the former then you will need a graphics package like PhotoPaint/PhotoShop and its not easy and you will have to do it for each and every image. Let's have a look and i can tell you
Colin M
Sounds like your image is opening in a new browser window and is not displayed as full screen? The best way is to limit the size of the new window to match the image size, and better still not have any of the buttons etc on view for that window. You'll need a little bit of javascript to control the new window functions, but it's quite simple to copy and paste into place using the HTML tab in FP.
