Ray123 Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 A friend of mine from Germany wants to get his sat nav working in UK and IRl. but doesnt have the CD. He has asked me to help but I know very little about it. It is a Multivan with a VW Navigation system MFD (whatever that is). He tried someone elses Teleatlas cd but it wouldnt work. Mook Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 There is a CD for each region and only the VW MFD CD will work (you can't use CDs from other systems). Rhodri Posted April 1, 2007 Report Share Posted April 1, 2007 Please please please can someone give me some advice on my MFD Sat Nav Unit!!!??? I have fitted the unit, connected everything up as it should be and the aerial is fitted correctly. When I look at the screen and I am driving, the screen updates every 30 secs or so and this is rubbish if you're trying to navigate somewhere!! Have been told that the unit takes a signal from the GALA lead which is linked to the ABS system. The unit is useless really unless one of you guys, who knows what they are looking for/talking about can help!! Will do anything to get the thing working!!
