Im selling my A4 Avant on ebay at the moment, and someone has asked if it has isofix.

Never having kids I dont know, so ive checked the manual and it looks like isofix should have two connectors at the base of the seat? I cant see them on my car so im presuming it hasnt got isofix but can anyone confirm this would be correct and its not a standard fit?

It a 2003/53 2.5Tdi QS if that helps.

ISOFIX was not a standard fit on 2003/53 so if it wasn't picked as an option, it won't be fitted frown.gif

ISOFIX can be retrofitted in the rear seats quite easily (as long as you don't mind removing the seats) but the front is a bigger job as it also involves fitting passenger airbag deactivation.

as mentioned above, if you slide your fingers along the rear of the base of the seat you will be able to feel the brackets. If they're not fitted, they can be as the chassis will have the bolt holes tapped & ready to accept the brackets. I've retro-fitted them on my B5 2001 A4 Avant.

I bought an IFOXFIX kit for my S4 saloon off NelsonA4sline. It was around £80 IIRC.

Have a word with him....HOWEVER

...I didn't have much success with ISOFIX seats in the back so I sold the fixing kit and now have a seatbelt secured Recaro seat. It's absolutely rock solid.
