SneakyMcC
Very nice! But you might wanna raise them zorsts a tad. They'll deck-out and lift the rear wheel around Druids! Of course, this is what you really wanted, right? No trouble with the zorsts on this!
Jon
The pipes are getting binned before i pick the bike up as i don't like the look of them, don't know how they sound until next week but i plan to have the stage 1 done, the pipes will look like this: http://www.vanceandhines.com/images/main_d_bigradius06.jpg and sound like this http://www.vanceandhines.com/sound/shortshots-stag-06-dyna.mp3 The stock pipes look too retro for my liking, the 07 pipes have butterfly valves bulit in to make them quieter round town but i'll need to hear them next week when i get to take the bike out for a couple of hours. I will also be changing the intake system and fitting a Vance and Hines fuel commander, ultimately i plan on supercharging it but that will be way down the line after the stage 3 heads Jon. Avus_Bub
That's a good looking brute Jon. Enjoy! The V-Rod still floats my boat though. BUB

BUB [/ QUOTE ] I wanted the V-Rod but absolutely hated it when i rode it, it's very quick in a straight line but doesn't go round bends as the footpegs ground out really easily. For touring it would be a right PITA as you only get abou 85-90 miles on a full tank. What looks like the fuel tank on the V-Rod is the air filter housing, the fuel tank is under the seat. Jon. DukeDesmo
[ QUOTE ] Torque 92.0 ft. lbs. @ 3000 [/ QUOTE ] Well it may be a heavy brute but with all that torque it should still be capable of some 'fun' http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6663403286138109232

Jon
You are correct, they don't view it as a proper HD, however i view it as a bike that starts to bring them to the mainstream, however, if you want a quick HD go for a Buell. I grounded the pegs out and i had only had my licence 2 weeks at the time so was nowhere near the limits. I love it because it was the bike i sooo wanted that i went and did my licence, i still love the look of it. It is quick, if you can believe it the V-Rod is quicker than an R1 in a straight line but at 6' 5" it really didn't work for me. Jon.
