The latter figure should give you further clues about this engine; it's a twin-turbocharged diesel (or HDi according to Peugeot's dictionary). Had my 406 coupe for 2 years now and has only had exhaust mid section replaced for £75, nothing else to report really. Before that I had a TT which was back at the dealers 3 times.
