Snail
How good are those cans of puncture repair stuff? Are they a viable alternative to a spare wheel? how do yu pump the tyre if its completely flat?
bazza_g
The one in my car worked really well when I got puncture down in Dorset about 1 mile away from the summer TSN meet You remove the valve with the tool, squirt in the goo, put the valve back in and inflate with the compressor - drive a little and put more air in if needed. The repair got me the 90 miles home Only thing is that the tyre can't be repaired after using the goo

NeilB
Don't some of these stick to the rim and are a bugger to get off when putting the new tyre on?

[/ QUOTE ] Apparently the bigger prob is the liquid that doesn't set - I forgot to tell the guy at ATS that I'd used the goo and I heard "f*ck" shouted from the workshop as it went all over him
