Atomic
Just a little piccy of the boot loaded with the kids bikes, admitttedly I had to remove the wheels (quick release ) but it just goes to show what the old 8 can carry
AnArtist1
Nice one..... I got into trouble boasting to a colleage that I could fit 3 bodies and a torso in my 'pimp wagon' boot!.... ... thats when I found out her husband works for CID and deals with this stuff all the time, he just sat there and smiled politely. OOOOOOOOPPPsssssssssssssssssssss .

Botang
I only need to carry two bodies at a time so sacrificed some of the space for stereo equipment. Theres not many cars that you can fit a full width sub box containing two 8" Audiobahn's, two amps, the amp mounting pannels, all the wiring and still leave a perfectly useable boot
Atomic
Sheesh that's quite a bit cut off though? Looks like from the point where the wheel cover hinges.

[/ QUOTE ] Yep thats exactly where it cuts off so that I can still access the spare wheel, etc. I dont have a need for a massive boot, last time i went to Germany we still managed to get all of our luggage in no problem at all. Botang
[ QUOTE ] Does it sound good? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah it sounds a treat, its not just them though, I have gone for 5" Boston Acoustics components in the front doors, 5" Infinty reference components in the rear doors, and two 8" Audiobhan's in a box behind the Amp panel which vent through the rear shelf. Theres also the Alpine oversized head unit and, carPC and 7" touchscreen (touch doesnt work now as Lilliput are crap!) Its more of a home cinema style sound than all out bass as the Audiobhans can do full range rather than being specific subs.

Ska
Thanks James was having a senior moment for a bit I kept my install stealth as I know only too well of the unwanted attention of ICE thieves, when out shopping etc in westlondon except at night when the fans light up the boot

JamesB
I barely drive these days as my commute is now by train and Shanks' pony but you'll occasionally see me around in a silver Fabia vRS or a beautiful blue Touran 2.0 TDi.
rothwell
I've got a 12" JBL ported sub that sounds nice, I had it in my Passat. It is just sitting in my garage at the moment, along with a JBL sub and 4 JBL door speakers. Once I get my own A8 I shall install it all in that. A8_Tony
This is a sweet install A little (lot) over the top, but impressive none the less. Not to my taste, I'd prefer something a little more subtle like what we're seeing in this thread:D
