MajorH Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 Had my R32 since the beginning of the month and done a grand total of 200 miles. Car is now back with the dealer, the cruise control doesnt work, steering wheel chafes on the column cowls and spookiest of all the satnav switches on randomly mainly on speed bumps, a bit dissapointed that the first two point werent picked up on PDI, whats other peoples experience with their dealer ?. shao_khan Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 My R32 was ok tbh, but my current Beetle Cabrio, secodn had from a Dealer and the following items been doen so far: Front Brake pads and Disks - Disks cracked and warped - not picked up on PDI Rear disks and pads - as above New Roof - fault around rear window not picked up on PDi Speaker - SPeaker Grill broken, not picked up on PDI - but noted on my inspection. New Top mounts New elec Window mechnaism Oil Level low - not noted on PDi Front bumper damaged and poor repair Broken front fog lamp Missing underbody trims Tyres (after 600 miles journey after collection) were illegal - one had the metal wires all sticking out the sidewall. Drivers seat subframe replaced New EGR unit New MAF New Fuel guage sensor And thats all I can think of off the top of my head.....
