Dave
When i started this game up, i had to change my consule setting to 60HZ.. didn't seem to make that much difference to the telly. Why did i need to do that, and will it affect my other games. I don't have my xbox connected to a HD telly yet.
gizze
60hz is the game running at full speed, full screen, most Pal games are optimized for 50Hz now but a handful are not or require it to run in 60hz. 99% of games are written with NTSC in mind, (USA and Jap format) which use 480 lines of resolution and 59.94 frames a second, if you run these games on a Pal tv at 50hz and they are not optimized you get two things happening, firstly it will run 17.5% slower, and the other thing is you will get a letterbox image on screen, because pal uses 576 lines of resolution you will get 94 lines that are not filled in. It made more of a difference in the days of NES, SNES, MD, NeoGeo etc. When the playstation came along some software started to otimise the stuff for pal, and by the time Xbox 360 came it is pretty much sorted. Everyone should set their machines to 60hz, and the only time you should swap back is if you have any jerky movement on screen.
