AvantSE Posted December 29, 2006 Report Share Posted December 29, 2006 There I was, enjoying a few days off work, and tolerating the fact that "the sister-in-law" is coming up today, when wifey announces that her friend, complete with boyfriend and parents, are coming to pay us a visit So instead of a relatively quiet afternoon with my 8-week old son, I have to put up with: 1) A sister in law who irritates me to death, and that's before she even opens her mouth; 2) The friend who thinks she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth because 'daddy' was the MD of a major company and provides everything she asks for; 3) The friend's boyfriend (think along the lines of a male version of (2). 4) The parents of the friend - a mental woman with a furry face, and the bigotted twat of a father who appears to have a mid-life crisis on the go, and looks down his nose at everyone apart from his own family.
