chipandpin Posted February 5, 2007 Report Share Posted February 5, 2007 I have the hands free kit and MFSW in my MKV but never bothered to get the cradle for my phone, opting for the Parrot bluetooth kit. However, im very impressed with the Audi hands free kits and would like to try the VW one but have a Sony Erricson K800i - They dont do a cradle for it, but do do one for the K750i, which is a very similar phone. Does anyone know whether that cradle will be compatible with my K800i as they are special order only so the dealer cant get me one to try. Dan32 Posted February 5, 2007 Report Share Posted February 5, 2007 Not sure if this helps but I've owned both of these phones and the 800 is longer and the camera part is deeper at the back so probably won't fit. I have fitted a K800 cradle in the MKIV which fits behind the trim, so no drilling required. Might be worth talking to your local car radio shop to see if they have a specific cradle for the MKV to fit your phone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check out my previous posts on this topic if your Mk V R32 was an earlier one. They have since been changed but earlier MkV's phone prep is incompatible with phones younger than 4 or 5 years old.
