rhyds
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Rover 820 Vitesse is the same. [/ QUOTE ] Oh, please stop... [/ QUOTE ] Oh, just one more. There were a few Rover 400s fitted with the 2.5 litre KV6 engine. They'd be Q-cars. If the head gaskets haven't gone. [/ QUOTE ] The later KV6s (rover 75-on) were much better than the early (rover 800) ones. A fair few people praised the MG ZS (45/400 in drag)'s handling, so put that in a plain-jane 400 shell and you have a Q car.
NunchukHamster
They also fitted the T16 200 Bhp lump in some 220 & 420 GSi's. Very Q, but very rear indeed.

[/ QUOTE ] Indeed, the T16/M16 powered R8's are a rare sight, the thing is, the T16 block isn't far removed from the old O-series block, so with some work, it'll fit an MG/Austin Maestro, I know of a few people who wind theirs up to some serious power.
