Jimmythegreek
Hi everyone, tomorrow i am picking up an A3 sept 2006, cant wait, and i plan to install RNS-e into it. I already have the unit, and the car currently has Symphony II which should make things a bit easier. I have also got the plug and play adaptor, but on observing it i am not sure if it is correct for my car. Here is the one i bought. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Plug-Play-Adapter-...1QQcmdZViewItem My car has Bose and GSM Phone prep, and the item states it is capable of running these, but on checking the wire loom, there appears to be no cable in the place where Bose should be, am i being stupid or is this loom wrong? I have some pictures i can send. Please can someone help, Thanks.
craigyb
It will be missing the BOSE pin and possibly the front L+R wires to feed the BOSE amp. Other than that it looks ok.

Jimmythegreek
i know im being an idiot but didnt quite understand Craigyb's advice, is he saying i dont need those pins, or i need to add them?
PetrolDave
He's saying you will need to add them - because your car has Bose and it's a non-Bose adapter.
