Strange pipe .

When i was giving my car a valet, i had the wheels off and behind the rear offside arch liner there was a clear rubber hose dangling just below the bottom lip of the liner. Does anyone have any idea of what this maybe or is my car about to dismantle itself?

Does the Mk5 have some sort of air valve to exit fuel fumes on a very warm day.

Just thinking that the fuel filler is just above the area you mention.

Breather/overflow pipe for the Haldex?

A breather for the fuel kinda makes sense. Your right as it is tha same area as the fuel filler/tank.

It does seem like a overflow or vent for something.

If it's clear plastic, on the rear offside, it'll be the overflow pipe from the fuel filler.
