byron13 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Ok so I need a small 1 litre top up bottle and I took the old one from the S4 which is Castrol SLX. I’ve read Daz's excellent guide to oil changes on the RS4 and it (and other sites) says Castrol Edge. Booked in to my local dealers for the TMC upgrade and a Tracker (Insurance insist on it ) Asked the dealer to give me a price on the Castrol Edge and he has never heard of it and wants to sell me a bottle of the Castrol SLX!! What's the scoop here? Can I use the SLX to top up and has the EDGE just superseded the SLX?? Any thoughts here? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same stuff just in a rebranded bottle However, SLX3 is changing names again in the next couple of weeks!
