Ska
Have you driven in the dark yet? A bit of a shock compared to the standard Halogens aren't they? They look realy bright for 8000k what type of relay did you use to get that US cruise light theme going?
SneakyMcC
Crikey, I've gotten a sun tan viewing these pics! Or was I this colour b4?
S4_Dan
[ QUOTE ] Have you driven in the dark yet? [/ QUOTE ] Where do you live that it gets dark?!? Looks good! Makes me tempted to get some for mine. As already mentioned by Ska, how did you get the yank cruise look with the indicators? Or is it that the HID's ar the bright, they illuminate your indicators too?! Do the rear indicators illuminate too or just the fronts? Dan
mkoneman
these make a hell of a difference much better than the candle power that was in there before, well pleased with the overall colour and brightness i think 6000k would have been too blue. i did a complete factory look on the install you cant see one part of the wiring or anything there is even a nice ally brace behind the bumper perfect for mounting the ballasts on RE:sidelights it just the fronts that light up and its done with extra bulb holders fitted so they remain 5w bulbs and the indicators flash brighter
mkoneman
oh and a note to people its worth taken your headlights apart (only a few clips) to clean the inside of the headlight and the projector lenses as this improves brightness god im good to you lot

jettadeluxe
[ QUOTE ] i think 6000k would have been too blue. [/ QUOTE ] Have I got it wrong, I thought 6000k is whiter than 8000k, the higher the number the more blue/purple the light gets?
Ska
No you you are right to say that 8000k set up is a lot blue than the 6000k set up. Theres a pic of my car somewhere on here and I'm running 8000k which I bought of ebay quite a while ago and still going strong, touch wood.
