[/ QUOTE ] Still running in the MK5 so will know when we stop driving it like an old granny!!. First impressions though are the 5 is much more refined and a lot quieter and i love the dark interior and instrument cluster at night.

JasT
If the Mk5 is refined and quieter than the Mk4 that's put me off ever upgrading! Great pics by the way!

Calm Chris
Nice picture, I still find that the MkV isn't aesthetically as nice as the Mk1V . I'm sure it's a more developed car, but if I compared the two cars to a type of woman (said in the Swiss Tony the Car salesman's voice from the Fast show style) Mk1V is sleek, refined, naturally beautiful and the MkV is guilty of wearing heels that are too high, wears too much make up, and is more in your face . I prefer my woman folk natural, rather than the make up counter girl "look". Lucky you for having access to both- chill in the Mk1V and slap the girls friend one all over the place (mostly when she's not in the car) . Looking forward to your side by side review in a month or two

You dont see too many like that about unlike us common colour owners !! . Have to agree with you on the number plate issue as i cant see any prob at all with it but i do tend to tow the line with pics of my car as it seems to be the general forum rule
Mook
One of the reasons that the posting of number plates on TsN is generally not done is because it's possible to find out someone's full name and address from their number plate. A lot of people modify their cars, so, you're possibly leaving an open invite to someone to help themselves to your pride and joy.

[/ QUOTE ] See ya point mate and the last thing i want is for me or anyone on TSN to have their P&J nicked but its possible to find out all kind of details about someone on the net even without a reg plate to go on. I could also put out the rattlesnakes into the backyard at night and put my keys in a safe which i then dangle into the piranha infested moat at the end of the garden "just to be on the safe side". On the other hand i could hopefully live a little

[/ QUOTE ] Based on a couple of stories on here, though, the thieving b*stards would force you out of bed and get you to recover the keys for them so they could nick off in your car. As long as you've got some anti snake poison curing cream stuff...
