mgoliver(aka Beermeister)
Ordered the car yesterday. I still have a few days before Audi gives me the build week and no more changes to the specs after that. What do you think if I tell you I am ordering an A5 3.0 TDI in Ibis White? Seen a pic online days ago, but can not find it. Can you guys help?

gizze
Looks great in white, can you get the black optics pack on the A5?? If so I would get that and get anthracite wheels and light tints.

Ian_C
[ QUOTE ] White is the new black... [/ QUOTE ] You've just answered your own question. On some cars white is fine, usually where there is a racing heritage link. Porsche GT3 RS, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, Peugeot 205 GTi etc. These will always be sought after. However, stock 993 Carreras can be worth as much as 5k less than silver examples. White may have made a bit of a comeback - nicely just after I bought my classic GTi - but it will only be a matter of time before it is deeply out of favour again. People who have bought Candy White Mk5 Golf GTis have still found them hard to shift - both privately and in px. Agreed, the RS4, S5, M3, Murcielago etc look good in white, but there is no way you'd catch me risking that amount of money on a modern car. If money if not an issue - company car for example - then hell yes just go for it! Ian
shao_khan
Yeah but its all about what you like - if you like white better than all the rest then money invested is irrelevant as you are buying to enjoy not as an investment. Hence Solar Orange with Orange exclusive trim in a TTr would be cool

shao_khan
white looks cool, always has - A5 suits white and who gives a stuff about RV - dealers will find some other way to screw you if you went for silver.
