Seems like the idea is to put an in-car PC into the boot, feed VGA via a converter, and audio via a USB sound card, into the OEM TV Tuner. Control is with a Griffin Powermate, which is a MMI-like "spin & click" control wheel that sends emulated key/mouse actions via USB. Also rather interesting, is this site, which has a CAN to COM port unit that would seem to allow controlling an in-car PC from the CAN bus that takes the steering wheel control signals.
