edo Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 Just a quick one. Hired a Mondeo Estate in France with SixT and they tried to give me a Focus C Max. I declined, so they gave me a fully loaded 2.7 TDI A6 Avant. It hauled 5 of us and a load of luggage over 500 miles in 3 days. Deeply impressive. Supremely confortable, very stylish (for an estate), everything worked perfectly. I dont need an estate day to day, but if I did, this would be right up there. The perforamance was also surprising. As was the smoothness of the V6 TDI. It made my 4 cyl TDI A3 seem very clattery. It also made me wonder what the A3 would go like with this engine in! I'd like to try the 3.0 A5 now...
