Simonl
Has anyone ever experienced or noticed any blistering on the chrome kidney grills? I have some and was wondering if they could be replaced under warranty? I've also got some strange cracking on my headlights - an area of lots of hairline cracks about 2"x1". It almost looks like a small spiderweb or a small patch of frost. It's on both headlights (driver and passenger side) in exactly the same place (infront of the dipped beam bulb) The rest of the headlight glass/plastic and front of the car is perfect (apart from the odd stonechip) Could it have been caused by the washer jets perhaps, on a icy cold morning!?! Again, just looking to see if it would be a warranty thing, or if anyone has come across it before. Apart from that... feckin lurvin this car... wot an engine! Twisted Evil Cheers Oh and BTW, i've just put in some phillips Xtreme +80% bulbs... what a difference!!! Not quite Xenon but not far off, i'd say at least 80% as good as. Much much whiter than OEM bulbs and much whiter than Silverstars too (surprisingly). A worthwhile upgrade for the cash (£32)

CarMad
I haven't seen anything like that on mine but I haven't inspected it much. Its not an X3 though. Glad your enjoying it, I'm loving mine.

Oli
I would say thats a warranty item - shouldnt do that and will only get worse, but I would take your uprated bulbs out when you take it back to BMW, or they will try to blame them
freaknout
The scratches in the lens. I have them on my E46 3 series....seem pretty harmless to me.
Simonl
Apparently it's called grazing and is caused by a chemical reaction (usually from dodgy washer fluid) Very common in aviation.
