[/ QUOTE ] Well the first two attempts they changed the motherboard. The 3rd attempt was in the shop where they wiped the Hard disk and reinstalled everything. They then changed the hard disk and said that it wasn't a 4th attempt because the 3rd attempt wasn't actually an attempt because it was software related and that this attempt was actually the 1st one because it was something different. GF pointed out that it was still turning itself back on by magic and that this was the actual problem. She gave up arguing with Bangalore and the shop after getting nowhere apart from having her laptop taking longer to fix (after a week in the shop they said it was in bits awaiting a her hard disk!).
