Merlot
I was reading my Audi Driver and it mentions that the B8 A4 will have an option of Electronic Damping. It will have three programmed settings and a fourth where the driver can set different parameters for the suspension, the steering and the throttle response. Wow, I would ease off the throttle and firm up the steering (probably). Anyway, the article implied that the system was not the magnetic ride seen on the TT and R8. Nor of course is it DRC or Air, so Audi will have four forms of adaptive damping. The big question to me is why the A5 did not demo this feature as it is meant to be the sporting model? Chav
The A5 isnt a sporting model - its a (quite big) luxury coupe. different thing. RS4 is sportier.
Merlot
What? The comparison is with the B8 A4. Put an A5 3.0tdi next to an A4 3.0tdi. Which one will punters say is the sporting model? Ten out of ten?

andyollie
I still reckon a set of Variant 2/3 KW coilovers are the ticket. excellent ride and adjustable damping all be it not as easy as a button
