I am sure you know about this, the rear pads wear quicker ..

Ouch, expensive mistake at 2.5k a disk!

you really have to watch the pads, you dont want that happening. rears do wear quicker as the rear takes alot more load than most cars due to weight distribution. Never seen pics that bad. thanks for sharing!

Agreed, be interesting to know who far those pads/disks had done, and the abuse they had been put under.

the problem is not with the disks but the fact the pads got worn to the metal. Although PCCB's last much much longer than steels they are ****ed if you let your pads run dry. With steels you get ruts but can most of the time wear through that with a fresh set of pads. PCCB's just do this, although not usually to that level!

He has been on track, can tell from the brakes and tyre desposits inside the rim.

To be honest cups always go like that when on track. the problem has been the fact he hasnt changed his pads once they were worn.
