garcon magnifique
That article is eighteen months old. Wonder how development is going??
Scotty
It says 2-3 years so you'd expect to start hearing fairly soon .... on the assumption all motoring journalists are always right of course
PetrolDave
That article says: The e-Quattro system would fully replace conventional all-wheel drive in vehicle lines where it is offered, but Audi will offer both systems for a lengthy period of time. The compact, MQB-based vehicles like the A3 will retain conventional all-wheel drive, as will the heavier SUV models. So we can expect to see Haldex,Torsen and e-quattro in parallel in different model ranges for several years. Dave
Not read the whole article.. but i much prefer Torsen to Haldex.. I don't like the way the electronic version comes in.. Be interesting to see how this new version is ... but I suppose its the same as they have been racing at Le Mans for a few years
