Busby
Bazza, I notice from your other post that you were there on Monday. Anything stand out this year? Anybody else been yet or planning to go? I'll be there on Friday morning if anyone else happens to be there. Hoping there is somebody from the technical team on the Kwak stand to have a chat about some things on the new H2 and also looking forward to gawping at the custom RSV4's that Aprilia will build if you have deep enough pockets. Also excited to see the new Blade in the flesh and will also be spending some time with Norton and dribbling over one of their new V4's.
Scotty
I went opening day. The Norton's and the Superleggera were the highlights for me. The Ducati is just carbon overkill - love it The Norton - love that the swing arm is milled from a 70Kg billet to 3.5Kg!! Was disappointed to hear the numberplate will be put on the swingarm but I understand why.
JonC
I went yesterday. Had a test ride and must have visited the entire 3a hall. Too many highlights, but defo agree with Scotty - the Superleggera is awesome. The V4 Nortons are works of art more so than a bike to ride! Busby
What did you test ride Jon? Enjoyed the show and it seems to be back to its proper size after a few not so good years. Superleggera was amazing - that carbon swingarm! The Norton looked amazing and is absolutely tiny. Also thought the new Fireblade is a good looking bike but what the heck are Suzuki doing? The new GSXR1000 is probably incredible from an electronics/dynamic perspective but it looks so drab compare to all of its competition.
Scotty
But at least the GSXR comes with a nice can! Plenty of value for money if quantity is your thing!
JonC
I test rode the gixxer 750. Track weapon it is. daily it ain't. The '17 gixxer thou has much tricknology which sadly isn't available on the 750. New 'blade SP is stunning...
