  1. Yea, lots of them do it. There a few threads on Audi world. The quick version? It is bad. No, it cant be glued. According to Audi you need to replace the top. Mine was $7,000. You can buy the top from the people who make it for Audi. I think it is these guys. Robbins Auto Top Company convertible tops good luck.
  2. My car was in the shop for almost 2 months because the drivers mirror wistled at 77 MPH. Finally the dealer decided they will not drive my car above the speed limit of 70 to hear the noise and gave the car back. They cant hear the noise when I drive.
  3. coins get stuck and the lid jams. It is a real pain to fix.
  4. if your still looking. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index....rentPage=search
  5. there is actually a little connector that slips over the fuse blade. Radio shack sells them. They are like a buck.
  6. I have to keep mine in my suit case. The TSA (airport security) are afraid of the "switch blade" key.
  7. With the remote windows option turned on, can you still put the top down using the key in the drivers door? Gene Bopp ([email protected]
  8. I have a 2005 cabriolet. The bits you sit on are leather. For $1000 I could have made the whole seat and door panels leather. For $1500, I could have made the whole seat and door panels leather, and gotten the upgrade seats with the the pinstripe dark leather trim.
  9. Yup, Here it is. http://www.cabrio-module.de/
  10. It sounds to me like you are worried about damage from putting the car in park while you were moving, not worried about how the car moves while in drive but no gas pedal. I really don't think that you could hurt it by doing that. I am sure it is not good for it, but one time isn't really gonna kill it. When you put the car in park a pin slides against a gear to stop the car from moving. So, theoretically, you could brake the parking pin and the car would still drive. When younger I have abused a few rental cars. Based how rental cars (not Audi's) react. If you are going 10 or 15 mph the pin just makes a clicking noise until it can engage fully then the car just kinda rocks back and forth a bit. If you were going 2 or 3 mph the pin just goes in and the car rocks back and forth and stops. So unless you got a big snapping noise and the park position no longer will stop the car from rolling while parked normally on a hill don't worry about it.
  11. I ordered a cabiolet a few months ago and am still waiting. Thanks for your review. You made me think it may be worth the wait.
