DanG
Just been out in the Cab seeing as its sunny, and noticed that when you put the roof down and its cold outside, the heating automatically shifts up to 19 degrees and directs to the foot wells. Nice touch. Although heated seats make it nice and toasty seeing as its 13 degrees outside!
Cupramax
Yep, and it turns it off again when you put the roof up Top weather for a top down cruise today
DanG
Yes indeed! Went out to get a sandwich, but ended up doing 50 miles and having three courses for lunch! Feeling very sleepy now....
Phil1978
That was your previous settings when the roof was down. So if you put the temp to max then shut the roof, as the windows begin to close the temp will go back to what it was when the roof was up. Then opening it again will put the heater to max. It remembers the setting when the roof was in that last state. Similar to how different keys remember different heater settings too.
Merlot
It has a function that remembers the last setting you had when the roof was down. V impressive.

DanG
Saw a fella in a Mk1 golf GTI Cab out too with the roof down.... So not just us!
techieboy
Went out this morning without the roof on the VX220 - now that was feckin cold. A gnat farting gives more heat output than the heater in the car, it's totally useless. But, fun all the same!
Mook
Pah - that's nothing! Went out this morning in the A4 loaner and opened the window. It was still feckin freezing...

DanG
Nice day again today. Roof down on the way to this meeting in a hotel near Basingstoke. Rest of the people thought I was bonkers when I pulled up. Again, not the only one with the roof down! Heated seats and decent heater and it gets quite warm! Seem to have picked up some leaves on the wind deflector though.....

DanG
More Open Top Motoring today, fantastic weather, although car is looking very dirty. Might have to give it a quick clean before what is forecast to be a very sunny day again tomorrow. Now why could'nt the 'Summer' be like this! Hopefully will continue to have the roof down into November at this rate!
