AvantSE Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 Pulled up at the pumps today and embarassingly found the fuel filler door lock had not released so I had to pull the red ring-pull jobby in the boot. Now when I lock the car, the fuel door doesn't lock. Is this likely to be just the motor/solenoid that has packed up, or has anyone come across any other causes? AvantSE Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 I buggered about with the locking pin by pushing it in/out several times with a pair of pliers.
