Tuning the S4 V8

I think for the S4 it might be interesting, as they have basically the same engine as the S8, with less power std. available. Therfore there is more to gain for you with chipping, without having to look towards more extreme mesures.

Don't know if you're dead set on AMD, otherwise you could check out Revo as well, and even try it without costs on your own car (IIRC).

Chipping alone for a N/A engine usually gives only a small increse in brake alone. I got 17 more on my R32 through AMD. Only a small improvments in stats....yes, but the car has imporved 200% in the way it lays down the power. It really free reves now, and well worth the £600. The miltek would give me a further 10-15bhp so my advise would be to get the lot, espeshally if you feel it is lacking somewhere. beerchug.gif

Usually that's correct Woppum, but not in this case. As I said above the S4 V8 has some built in 'reserve', which is basically a freebie for tuners. They just have to 'unleash' it...

The S4 V8 can get up to about 380 BHP with just a chip, which is a rather substantial gain... wink.gif

If you go for the Miltek you can add another 20 BHP to that.
