Subaru Impreza 2.5 WRX STi 330S

Recommended Posts

Whatevva! :P

Race ya! :roflmao:

(Actually, it must be pretty bloody close between the WR1 and this - would be interesting to see how the older car does against it on the track ... +++ )

WR1 Figs are 0-60 in 4.25

0-100 in 11.7

standing 1/4 12.9

If you can find someone who will lend me a WR1, I'm up for it; Dunno how they got 4.25, but I'm not sure I want to try in my car.....

Worst thing I did to my mk1 Impreza was take it to Santa Pod. Never got rid of the clutch judder after that.

4.25 is brutal! The 330S is supposed to figure at 4.4 to 60 (4.8 to 62). Looking at the power and torque figures, it's pretty close to the previous model 2.5 STI with PPP.

The forthcoming 'built to order' 380S should be interesting...

Yep; I think I might need one of those, problem is they are still butt fugly..

What I need is a new job and then I can start thinking about proper expensive toys again.....

Could someone lend me an Atom 500 while I'm job hunting..:roflmao::roflmao:

Purleeze.........

Guess I must be "dedicated" then.

There seems to be a strange phenomenon developing around the new STI.

Those who've actually seen a real one, in the flesh, and can tell the difference between an STI and a 1.5R, and certainly those who've spent any time with one (EVO magazine for example), are beginning to hail it as something quite special, and some of them even quite like its looks.

Meanwhile, those who've only seen pictures (and would probably never have considered one anyway) continue to slate it.

The original Impreza was a genuine cult car. Looks like this one might be too.

The STi is better looking than the others, it is growing on me. The 330 is something that should sell itself to those that like it; the 380 should be mad as a box of frogs.

I really, really like that. The only thing I would change on the new Impreza is the chavtastic LED rear lights. There was one at the Ring in July that had what I presumed to be after-market rear lights that looked, well, like normal rear lights. No pics I'm afraid.

  • 4 weeks later...
A reasonable deal, considering it's a special edition that Subaru UK tend to allow very little leeway on.

Went for silver in the end. Looks good, and it's also a practical colour for hiding those dings and scratches (bearing in mind I'll be keeping this three years and 50k plus miles).

Nice one - make sure you post some pictures when you get it. Think I might go for a test drive at some point.
