Sat in town today waiting for a pick up and a lovely Bentley GT thingy rumbled past, then a few mins later this monstrosity drove past me -

The glinting gold caught my eye initially, but why would you do it?

Managed to find some pics of it on the net so I'm obviously not the only one who's noticed it, one of the web pages says "you should see his octo exhaust Range Rover" so if it's correct, I know the hotel that the cars owner owns, and his Range Rover looks gash too, it could be a candidate for Barry Boys quite easily!

I've never understood that Bentley/RR thing of making a car in any colour scheme that the client wants. Surely devalues the brand.

Quite the opposite.

If you are paying silly money for a car, you'd want to specify the exact colour you want.

It will only devalue that particaular car, and not the brand. The marketing bods would have researched that bit to make sure it doesn't devalue the brand in the eyes of whoever it was they surveyed.
