bells0
Added to my Apple household of a Macbook, 5G Powermac and iPhone with a nicely priced refurbed Mac mini. Anyone use them as a HTPC? Downloaded Plex last night which looks pretty sweet. Any other programs/software that works well for video/music/photos?
Mac
I have a couple of the new ones - one in the bedroom and one in the front room. One acts as a normal server as wells as a HTPC. Hooked via the DVI port via HDMI - plays high def stuff a treat I tend to use the built in front-row stuff, works well enough.
burble
I was toying with doing this with my old Mini before the logic board went pop. If I can find a reasonably priced reburbed 'new' one then I'll give it a bash.
bells0
Plex looks pretty awesome - works like front row, but can add channels [streaming shows ie The Daily Show with Jon Stewart]

Rachel
Added to my Apple household of a Macbook, 5G Powermac and iPhone with a nicely priced refurbed Mac mini.Anyone use them as a HTPC? Been using mine for a few years now as my Digital TV (using Elgato EyeTV) and media player (iTunes for music, VLC - now at v0.99 - for encoded TV, films and the odd DVD). Been brilliant.
