Andy_Bangle
Among the more intricate of Brabus' creations is this, the E V12 "Black Baron." Based on the latest E-Class, the dark lord is refitted with a twin turbo, 6.3-liter V12 with 800 hp and an electronically-limited 811 lb-ft (even though the engine actually produces 1,047 lb-ft), a ram-air system and a tuned ECU. Underneath is a fully-adjustable suspension and much bigger brakes and tires. To reach the car's electronically-limited 217 mph top speed, the car's aerodynamics have been improved at the obvious expense of the car's looks. Unless, of course, you think those wheel spats look good. We don't. If you need to go faster, the car is estimated to be able to hit 230 mph sans the electro-nanny. And it still gets 15 mpg. There will only be ten of them made, and a single example will require you to hand over €600,000. 400 Km/h speedo:

cruiser647
Is there still a market for these Brabus monsters? Including this S-Class based one :- 740bhp Mercedes-Benz S600 - Autocar.co.uk
theduisbergkid
"Black Baron" - great name, hideous car, I'm not convinced this isn't a Photoshop by BMW ...
Tipex
I think it's awesome! Obviously you'd have to remove those rear wheel covers, but I suspect they are removable and only fitted for top speed runs. If I had the sort of money, I'd buy one! Mollox
I've loved the Brabus offering for as long as I can remember - however, I think they're starting to lose the plot in the styling department... First they thought SIX exhaust pipes were a good idea, then they went all matt black and chavy with the Rocket - but now - those real wheel covers? NO! garcon magnifique
I'd put up with the looks just to be able to say I have a car that's electronically limited to 217mph.
Mollox
Looks like a pretty tasty looking car that's been reversed into Darth Vader's helmet. They should call it the EV Maul Limpet (shitebox).
JonC
Utterly vulgar wheel covers. Other than that, a rude car
Wizbit
Bunch of arse. Did you see the last Brabus Merc that Jeremy Clarkson tested on Top Gear? With similar torque / power levels the traction control light was constantly on and he reckoned all that power was simply unusable in a 2WD car. Pulling out to overtake and flooring the throttle just resulted in the traction control immediately kicking in and a not so fast overtaking manoeuvre... which kind of defeats the object doesn't it?
