I know all opinions have equal value, but I'm sure some are more equal than others.

Christopher Evans an egotistical cock? Really? Compared to who on the radio? Ok, he does have a colossal ego, but then again he probably merits it. I definitely don't think he's a cock, certainly given the amount of time and money he spends on charitable pursuits. He just strikes me as someone who is the very best at what he does, knows it, genuinely enjoys it, and enjoys the little extras in life such success can give.

Anyway, Shao, just a thought - it's sold out, so if all else fails try getting in touch with the Radio 2 breakfast show... they might give you a plug.

Nicely put. I think he deserves his success personally. Linky works for me, too. Last year's apparently sold out quickly so an Ebay listing may well reap rewards.

Thanks, These have gone in the post to new atendee today.

The car fest organisers have been extremely unhelpfull throughout the process, and given the work the Chris Evans has put in, I personally would round up the company behind it and stick them in a field and then run a stock car meet in it ala death race, useless bunch of stupid lazy feckwits. (all IMO of course)

Thanks for the remarks

We are all entitled to opinions. Having waste time and money reading the autobiography mark 1 and 2, listening constantly to virgin (when he owned it), watched the tv shows, I accept he is an entertainer.

Shall we discuss his part in the Gascogne corruption, the ease with which he dumped his teams (more than once), his ability to dump his daughter for 20 odd years of her life, his alcoholism, or the fact that he is a ginger?

He has tempered in later years (I do listen occasionally to his show) and I do get drawn to the read he does in that sh1t paper the wife buys on a Sunday, but he is still a c0ck. All be it a successful and wealthy one.

I certainly wouldn't want him as a friend, mate or even an acquaintance, even if he does have a garage to die for.

Lets spin this round, what is that you like about the man?

I aim to please. :P

Well I don't like him enough to read his autobiographies, far more interesting books in the world and far too little time to read them.

I didn't care much for the younger Evans, but we all learn and change with age. I like the older, more mellow, more thoughtful even, Evans radio persona. He can be a bit bloody boisterous if you have a hangover, but overall I like his style as a radio presenter.

I also like his honesty. He knows he has been a cock in the past, he'll accept that openly. But he's built a new life, has a new family, and seems all the better for not needing to prove himself.

I've read his a/b's, and I found them quite interesting. I enjoyed the attitude of f*ck it, what's the worse that can happen. Certainly in business anyway. Lot of respect for people that think like that, they're invariably successful.

I'm sure for every success there's a few massively bankrupt though.
