eldavo69
I had a friend with the nickname "Shagger." Cool nickname you'd think? She hated it. - Jimmy Carr

ShaneyB
Ooh it's definitely Jerez. Shagga was an old school nickname (also used on the Audi forums) and nothing to do with my sexual activity unfortunately. Only had the car since Saturday but loving it so far. Feels 10 years newer than the RS in the cabin and the technology inside is leagues ahead. Doesn't turn heads like the RS but I like the stealth element. Doesn't feel as planted as the RS and had the back end out a few times but found it easy to control (in the dry). Does feel quicker which is probably down to the DCT box which I find fantastic. EDC does make a difference - even the wife and son have commented on that. I look forward to getting used the car and finding both of our limits. Quick question - 3D Nav? I have 3d ticked and on Perspective View but no 3D. Am I right that it's only in more built up areas you see the 3D images? Forgive my ignorance and if anyone has any tip or advice please let me know. Cheers

Andrew
What is this "step out" you talk of?
ShaneyB
What is this "step out" you talk of? Hi Andrew, I've been used to Quattro for years so when the car loses traction it tends to make the whole car drift. Now I have the E92 I've noticed that in 'M' (MDM) the rear drifts really easily but controllably. I fully expected to get the back end out on occasion (safelyor accidentally of course) but didn't realise how easy it would be.
Woppum
Are you near manchester? Oulten park does drift days on a tight track that really gets you used to it. By the end of one day you will sideways with ne finger. Well worth it!
NewNiceMrMe
I was about to say - it doesn't step out easily - it's just getting used to a new car that is RWD and changing your driving style and when you apply the throttle. Andrew
All sounds rather dangerous. I'll leave the MDM until next year.
