Very tempted but as the wheels are exactly the same design as the 18" wheels I have will it look much different, don't have budget to ditch the RF tyres that come with the eBay wheels. I drove cars with 18 and 19's on - and could hardly notice the difference. Mine is on 19's. Be aware that the rear Bridgestone RE050A's on 19's are £315 a corner. Reglaze is done every 3 months for £60. Weekly or fortnightly (depending on my travels) interior and exterior clean is £20 (that's meant to be £35 but I haggled it down on the basis of it going there so often). I'm fortunate in that the detailer is about 3 minutes from my office so he comes and collects the car and brings it back for that too. The sheer convenience of it and the time it saves me, apart from stopping me ruining the paintwork, makes it ideal. We had the same new car prep done on the X6 and it has exactly the same regular treatment. I've never washed mine myself because I don't trust myself with the Jet Black paintwork. I have jet-washed the X6 off once when MrsMe appeared to have driven it through a field of mud, but other than that it has never been touched with a sponge/mitt etc except at the detailers. I have the car fully valeted before selling it. 530 - 2.5 years - never cleaned. 328 3.5 years - never cleaned. 530 is the daily driver & is perfect inside, cleaned regularly by me, when driving I can't see the outside & maybe it makes others think they should keep well clear. I would say it's more a case of you get what you pay for rather than what your car washing person calls themselves, most of the 'valeters' around here are now calling themselves detailers, they do exactly the same job, they just get to charge more money. Not read great things about the RE050A's in the wet/greasy and the Michelin Primacy HP doesn't seem very sporting. Any experience of either please? Perfectly decent and certainly better than anything with Dunlop or Pirelli written on the side imo. They're firm being RFTs but I suspect they protect the rims from the rash of potholes we get every winter.
