NewNiceMrMe
Take the front spoiler/snow plough bit off the Vulcan and the entire front end is a ripped off 1970's Corvette Stingray.

JonC
Thought so. Sheene's (and my Dad's pal who worked for AGV who used to get me MCN and stickers all the time), got me interraced in motorcycle racing as a wee lad. Lucky number is 7 because of Sheene and his bike
Chick
I saw Barry Sheene race on the '77 bike at Silverstone ..... in 1977!! I was 3!! My Dad used to take me all over the place to watch bike racing in our VW camper van, even the TT races :D I met him in 2002 (might have been 2001?) at Goodwood Revival, had quite a chat & a cuppa, he then showed me all his bruises from where he had come off at practice the day before, his legs were literally black and blue although I mostly remember trying not to look to hard as he only had a pair of sports brief type pants on under his leathers That was a good day
Soulboy
Love the Sheene bike. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of the posters on the wall in me and my brothers bedroom as a kid, with him riding it. Bizarrely, the picture brought back such a vivid memory of that room that I can remember loads of other things I had forgotten (wallpaper/cupboards/radio/etc)...........all during endless, carefree, summer days. Thanks for posting.......has made me smile Ps don't care much for tge Vulcan. Sorry. Edited July 15, 2016 by Soulboy
max_b
One of the Vulcan's (possible the same as above, considering there are only 24 around) was at the car show I went to with PH earlier today. Here's a video of it starting up http://vid1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag158/max911uk/Mobile Uploads/Video_zps8gp0kgci.mp4 And here's a video of when it nearly blew me away from the side exit exhausts, when the owner started revving it http://vid1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag158/max911uk/Mobile Uploads/Video_zpstvtdtwbx.mp4 The owner opened his car up and happily let joe public sit in and take pics etc Edited July 31, 2016 by max_b

JonC
Videos are working just fine. It didn't start to well, huh? When it does though....blimey. That ar racing speeds would focus the attention nicely.
max_b
The chap by the door was I as understand it, the allocated tech from AM. It took a few goes to turn it over but once it did, wow. Probably not best captured by a mobile phone but it certainly made the right noises (no pun!!)
