Andy_Bangle
Jeremy '£136k a yr' Corbyn doesn't have to worry about 'getting in', he'll just continue to tell poor people to vote for him because some other random rich people are the reason they're poor. The fact it might cause issue to their own job doesn't even cross their minds.

garcon magnifique
I noticed the Daily Mail is saying thet Labour want to take us back to the 1970s. They don't like this, because they'd rather take us back to the 1930s.

Mook
They're all a bunch of useless twunts. May has been very cunning (like a fox she'd happily have ripped to pieces by dogs) in calling an election with no lead time. No opportunity for a Macron-like party to be founded and beat the sh*t out of the useless tories, labour and lib-dems.

Andy_Bangle
Tonight BBC1, 19:00: Andrew Neil interviews Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, ahead of the general election. Should be a fun/painful watch depending on your viewpoint. I just hope that Jeremy manages to keep his temper. He can get quite snappy, you know (just over 2 mins in) ... garcon magnifique
Did you see his interview with Theresa May? That was excrutiating, she was truly, truly awful. Corbyn's going to have to go some, even for him, to come out worse. (I mean actually worse, not what the press say...).

garcon magnifique
Despite an absolutely disastrous Tory campaign (the words of a senior Tory grandée, not mine) and a positive Labour campaign that seems to have gained momentum (no pun intended), I agree the polls are as good as meaningless. It's too easy for people to feel secure in their media bubble, choosing what they read and watch and believing that output alone. Socialists active on Twitter will be convinced of a Corbyn win, middle aged middle class housewives who look at Mumsnet and read the Daily Express will be oblivious to the polls and wider online world, and more to the point will be silent until polling day, when they'll vote Tory because they always have and couldn't conceive of doing otherwise. I live more in hope than expectation that she doesn't get the majority she wants.
