I fear Corbyn will win so have this link saved :) the gap has closed so much and so many people seem happy to be getting free money or more free money from Labour

At a time when we need to be as competitive as possible as a country Labour getting in would be a disaster. This isn't the Blarite middle ground party of old that still did a fairly big dent in the economy. This is a far left wing socialist party effectively run by unions more than ever before.

If Corbyn has a sniff of getting in with the opinion poles expect the markets to take a big hit and that will only be the beginning. With taxes up on business and with trade with Europe being uncertain the currently strong growth and confidence indexes will take a nose dive with an obvious knock on effect.

The country will be run by a second class cabinet as most of the first choice don't want to work for him having resigned from his incompetent running of his own party.

A strong and one sided view maybe but one some a starting to be very worried about and that before you add opinions on IRA links that I personally find shocking to have for someone running the UK.

If Corbyn won (he won't) I suspect you'd suddenly find lots of senior PLP members rushing to his side looking for cabinet jobs now they're not in opposition. The opportunity of actual power can have a curious effect on the memory.

By the way, can anybody name a member of the current Conservative cabinet that they consider to be competent?

You're suggesting that Borris isn't the clinical political colossus I thought he was?
