First snow foam with BH auto Foam https://www.bilthamber.com/auto-foam  (jet wash off) then shampoo with https://www.bilthamber.com/auto-wash - if you're that way inclined :)

A little of this stuff goes a long way.

Eh? Separate Foam and Shampoo? I thought the foam WAS the shampoo/cleaner?

If not then what does it do? I'm lazy and just want a rinse, foam, rinse product ideally :-)

First, you spray the dry car with foam which loosens all the dirt and washes off the grit, then rinse the foam off with the pressure washer and finally, wash the car as normal.

If you don't foam the car first then you're basically washing the car with a gritty sponge and a bucket of dirty water. Pretty much like the £5 hand-job, you get from the Albanians in Tesco carpark  :secret:

As I can't be arsed washing my cars more than twice a year I tend to foam, rinse and let them drip dry. In fact, the roof of my Range Rover has never been washed since new.

That's called a car wash.

Yup, as Andy says, you are wasting your time with a snow foam lance if you're looking for a quick wash solution.  Snow foaming a car increases washing time but makes it a lot less likely that you'll scratch it.

I jet wash, snow foam, jet wash off, wash with the 2 bucket method, dry....and then wax every couple of weeks to keep the layers topped up.

It ain't quick.  However, I only snow foam if the car is particularly dirty.
