18ME
I turned the Bose up full blast yesterday on the Porsche and I was surprised that even at full pelt it was very clear but I've had Bose on 2 Audi's now including this one but have not really benefited from a good earbashing as the wife is usually with me and if I do turn it up slightly I get an earbashing from her
Frodo
So the argument between the red's drags on. I think I will sort it by going with the red I saw on the showroom car. I don't usually like red but the S-Line with Alu trim looked fantastic together. Oh well I'll give Tonbridge a ring today, if they can match the price of Reading then they have my deposit otherwise I'll be getting it from Reading. Scotty
Who's in Essex/Hertfordshire/North London who has a Misano? Then we can do a side by side comparison. So far all the pictures I've seen of Misano on this thread don't look light/bright enough to the Misanos I've seen. Here's a pic from my archives but even this doesn't seem to capture the real Misano. The closest TT is Amulet Red (my old car) and the TTR is Misano. or Amulet - White - Misano

Frodo
I don't like Misano from those two shots of the TT. I have just rung the dealer to confirm the colour of the showroom car.
Chrisg
Frodo , before you put your order in phone Whites Camberley, ask for Dan Piper, tell him I sent you and ask him for his price !!

Scotty
Just don't sit in them with damp blue jeans on!! Mines all black leather so I can't really say but I think it's brave - like having a really light carpet in a house. I'm sure it will look great! gizze
I have to say that I love the Amulet Red, it has a blue hue to it rather than the orange hue of the other reds. I am not a fan of reds in general but just saw an amulet one 10 mins ago with a light interior and it looked stunning. I love lighter interiors too, I went from cream leather in a '51 bmw to black in an '02 bmw and the cream was actually alot easier to look after than the black which annoyed me a little as I went with black to make life easier Anyway the cabs look good in just about any colour, so enjoy
sitas3
Misano red is a great colour - far better than the no cost 'Absolute' red which is too orangey. I had a Misano red S3 and the colour never comes out well on photographs for some reason - also I noticed that this colour looked better to me on TT's rather than S3's... SPLiiX
I went for the Black seats so that the windows would look more tinted - On a car with light coloured seats the windows do not really look tinted... and my rear sun blinds and the luggage net that goes to the roof on the Avant I do not think I will need to tint the windows for the looks. Oh I tried to add the Auto dimming interior mirror and the cool box in the glove compartment but they said the car is confirmed and could not change it. They say car should be built This Friday.... yea ha!!!!!!!!!!

Frodo
Thanks very much SPLiiX can't wait for delivery. Anyone want a Goodwood Green S3 51 with Audi warranty until Feb.? I think I might have got a bit carried away with the specs but I just love toys.
SPLiiX
I love toys too - as you can see,...... Yesterday I went to look at a car kit for the old mobile.... the guy said to go for blue tooth and there would be no horrible bracket on the dash and you can keep your phone in your pocket and answer a call by pressing a button! He showed it to me on his car and worked wonders.... but the phone I really liked was £349 - but due to me haviing not had an updrade from O2 for a long time I got it for £99 Boy was I happy - but then when the car comes the kit for the car (which is just a button as far as I can make out) if £199 fitted. will worry about that at the time. I will need to start a new thread to see what other have done with bluetooth.
CabGirl
[ QUOTE ] I hope I like Brilliant Red as well but now I am having kittens about going for the silver seats. [/ QUOTE ] My Cab has silver leather. Until it arrived I was having kittens as well. I was worried about the contrast to the black dash and carpets etc. Especially as it is Moro Blue with a blue roof and I was worried about a blue/black clash. You can't have the Alu trim with Silver on the Cab so I have the Piano trim which picks up dust a bit too quickly but is extremely nice. I don't have any pickies of the interior so I'll try to take one later today.
Frodo
Much appreciated CabGirl. In the S-line only the seats are silver the dash and rest are all black.

nigel_steel
Like most, I hadn't actually seen Misano until I picked my car up, but I would just add to this thread that unlike metallic where the pearlscent flakes in the paint are silver, the flakes are actually what can best be described as sapphire red - it's subtle but awesome!! - and I got free metallic!! nigel_steel
PS my mate at work picks up his Brilliant red ltd edition this Thursday - when I can get the cars side by side (early next week) I'll take a few pictures and post them.
