Get some flowers and Champagne sent to the hotel for when you arrive, thats always a good start.

If you really want to impress there's always diamonds, but be careful, how long have you been together?

It's no good buying her a fantastic (yet not too expensive) diamond necklace, when here first reaction is disapointment as she's kept dropping hints about a diamond on her finger! smashfreakB.gif

Geo. Jewellery always works..earrings??? How about a watch for evenings or the other one is a Voucher for a Spa treatment..but two tickets so she and her mother can go together...I thought it was a bad bet but it went down well for me last year... 169144-ok.gif

A friend of mine summed it up. He bought his then-gf loads while they were together, jewelry, weekend in Paris etc etc. But what she loved the most was a £3 cuddly elephant he got her, 'cos it was just like the one she had as a kid.

Blokes rank presents in terms of cost, women in terms of consideration. No need to spend a fortune, just think about what would mean alot to her. Flowers and champers at the hotel sounds like a good way to go.
