richy_uk
Mixed feelings this evening. Handed back my cab today as the tax runs out, ready to pick my new one up tomorrow. Being the typical male that likes to have some emotional bond with expensive German lumps of metal, it was a bit sad leaving it at the dealers after 29.5k miles in 18 months, handing over the keys and books and signing the V5. Great car if it wasn't for the dodgy roof and choppy ride. Then did the dirty deed of the the paperwork for the new one and had another look around it. Unfortunately, didn't feel as excited compared to 18 months ago. 10 visits to the dealer and the apalling service from Audi Customer Services does that, but still, always nice to pick up a new car on a new reg. So to everyone that picks up a new car tomorrow, good luck and I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.
Ari
Felt exactly the same in January, the one that was going back was the special one I'd waited for for so long, this just felt like a replacement. However I have to say that this one is so much better in so many ways, so all for the best in the long run.
