SPLiiX
All my dreams have come at once. better order them before you lot do and there will be none left! Chav
guys, do these actually replace the standard painted mirror covers or are they the stick on ones that simply go over the top? just wondering why they are sooo much cheaper than the audi ones (which are £250 ffs!!!) same as spliix, i'd like to know how easy they are to fit cheers
jojo
Ok guys, these covers are basically plastic, with a chrome coating and replace the existing standard covers, they come with fitting instructions aswell. It's a 20 minutes max. job, pull off the mirror glass, disconnect two wires for the heater elements, then remove three screws, and they lift off. A8_Tony
Hmm, not sure I want plastic (says he with the plastic body coloured caps!!!!) I would really like to have a set of ali ones. Mind you for the money you can't complain I suppose
grahamb
Wot about some carbon ones? I notice that carbon bonnets are available for some Audis, does anyone make carbon covers?
A8_Tony
Hmm, not sure I fancy carbon ones on the '8. Chrome/brushed ali ones look great, but carbon I don't think would look to brilliant on the '8, particularly in my colour.

Paul
Ive seen these, and whilst i admit they do look good, they are _too shiny and mirror finished_ for my liking, and quite easily spotted as copies if your around the vehicle. having said that at XX mph you wouldnt have a clue.
