cruiser647
How about the Saab 93 with the 1.9TiD? It is the new 150 BHP Fiat JTD diesel, so it goes well! The Saab 93 does look good! Mean, low and sleek........ Does the new A4 come with the V6TDi engine? What Tax band is that in? (Passat V6 TDi???) Is tax banding important for you? Sparky
Agreed the BMW's aren't as nice to look as, and perhaps I'm biased as I'd suggest the A4 too. I tried the Saab 93, Volvo S40, Audi A4 1.8T and TDi and BMW 330, and after weighing up the comfort, looks etc settled on the A4 TDi and I'm glad I did. I'm doing more and more miles each year, so the petrol was out the window early on, and neither the Saab or Volvo had the same performance in the Diesel selections as the Audi did. I just wasn't fussed in the BMW (no offense to those who own one), but personally I felt it was a little drab inside and it just didn't sparkle on the outside for me either. In my experience of Alfa, it spent more time in a garage/side of the road than most other models and started rattling very soon after purchase. What about a VW? Have you seen the new-look Passat due out in October? Or must you change by March?

NewNiceMrMe
Noo, no onslaught, shes a little gem! As nice as her posts in this forum. Butter wouldn't melt. You're far too nice to buy a BMW thinking about it. Only horrible old pigs like me buy those so perhaps a rethink needed.
