Anal petrolhead (much to the annoyance of better 1/2) and even more anal detailer (ditto but at least she knows it's relatively harmless....) Currently running a 205 GTi, Astra (co.car) and Ka (GF's wheels). Insurance man by trade but about to launch a detailing company, specialising in high end vehicles using my 11 years' worth of contacts in this industry. Live with Louise, daughter Chloe (6), mad hound called Mutley (coz he looks just like him), psychotic cat called Millie and 2 goldfish called Dave & Rodney. GSOH blah blah blah. Pakshak, fiber-works, Sonus/Autopia, AG, Meguiars Porter Cable owner (x2) plus a rotary which I'm still mastering Overall at last count 3 cabinets of gear, 2 shelves and rather a lot of money! I spend at least a couple of days on my cars, but I've seen pictures of guys taking off wheels and polishing the suspension and calipers.. Andy_PC Posted July 8, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Dave - done that on my 205 - and painted the hubs, calipers, suspension etc etc. Then the HG went so new engine going in within next fortnight with luck. Also detailing 2 Ferraris tomorrow - dealer wants a wheels off job there so good job he has a 2 post ramp I say! Bill - temptation was just too much mate! See you some time next week?
