I presume you have asked for the relevent copy of the document from VW that they are quoting from? I would look at involving Trading standards, at the end of the day the dealer (VW UKs official agent) made the problem worse and so VW are liable to contribute towards the cost now anyway as the least they should do is return it to the standard it was before you let them loose on it. [/ QUOTE ] Just Spoken to VW customer (dis)services and they have now told me that the report done by the bodyshop manager and the warranty that shows the difference in coverage of different areas of the roof are "privelaged" and therefore not available for anyone outside the VW group!!!!!
